Bijou

To all you "old-timers", I just wanted you to know that my beloved Bijou has gone to the rainbow bridge.  He was having difficulty breathing and the x-ray showed a number of tumours in his lungs.  I held his beautiful head in my hands and kissed him as he passed over.  I've never had a more wonderful cat in my life.  The vet was sad as well since she thought he was so wonderfully gentle and kind.  I'll miss him forever.

I remember you and Bijou.  I am so sorry.  Didn't he have a sister that was your daughters cat?  There is something special about Siamese cats and he was special for a Siamese.

Yes, my daughter has his sister Mika.  Thank you Denice.  He was indeed a special kitty.

It's such sad news that your gorgeous, sweet-tempered Bijou's life was cut short by disease. He was very special and so beautiful that I often thought he'd win a "Most Beautiful TCS Cat" contest hands down. I remember so well the time he was "on the lam" and had you worried sick, and how he used to snuggle under the covers:

Oh I'm so so sorry to hear this.  I remember lots of stories about Bijou and he was just stunning.  I remember your daughter's cat too and a story about bringing the cat to work with her. I just don't remember if it was Bijou or Mika without trying to search for it.  I'm just so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry. He sounds like a really unique cat. You know we love them all, but sometimes a cat is just in a class by himself. I hope your memories will bring you peace and comfort.
