Best way to introduce new food for sensitive cat

I would like to introduce a “lightly” cooked frozen commercial cat food to my VERY sensitive FIV cat. I feed him about 50% home cooked and 50% commercial canned & pouches, not raw.

However, I’m going to stop feeding him Weruva products, keep him on Halo Turkey & possibly one other kind for the moment. I won’t go into the Weruva issue I’m having on this thread, but I don’t want to give him that anymore. (I’m happy to explain elsewhere if anyone was wanting to know, I can write a thread or feel free to PM me).

Could anyone please give advice of how to introduce a new food for a sensitive kitty?

Same way with any food transition but do it very slowly. Maybe a tiny teaspoonful at a time and slowly increase as long as your cat can tolerate it.
