Yeah, if it's only happened once I wouldn't be too concerned about a sensitivity, especially if he didn't throw up during the transition. It's most likely a coincidence, or he just ate too fast. If it's the second one, giving him smaller meals would help :)
Exactly! Plus there is also a random factor to cats barfing: we never know if one of ours might have eaten too much dust (it's apparently pretty tasty), a little piece of food I didn't know I dropped while cooking, kindling for the fire, or maybe a pine needle that some how made it into the screened veranda. Just about anything that's not cat food can make a cat barf and if your cat is even remotely like ours, Benjamin Franklin (Benji) Benjamin Franklin (Benji) , that dramatically increases the possible sources of causes. (One extreme case, that resulted in a rather expensive vet visit, even led to having to get rid of most of our houseplants.)
