Recently adopted this beautiful cat. He has what appear to be rosette markings in a saddle and a stripped tail. He has dense rabbit like fur, loves water, and follows me around. He is a loud talker and has different meows and vocalizations. Would appreciate an opinion on whether he could have bengal in his ancestry?

Pretty markings! But don't see anything Bengal about your kitty and behavior traits aren't breed specific, plenty of noisy water loving domestics out there, far more than any purebreds. What'd you name your new friend?

He is marked like a Tuxedo /Bengal cross a friend has. The small head, heavy hind quarters, Raccoon rings around the tail, square muzzle, the fur density (like a pelt) and eye shape suggest there is Bengal in there.
Unusual marked and lovely cat.
For got to add: Also the heavy muscled shoulders

Those aren't rosettes, he looks like a broken mackerel tabby, or possibly spotted from the looks of one photo even though the back stripe is solid, not sure. Either way, they're not rosettes. He's a Domestic Shorthair, black (usually called brown) tabby with white.
