Right now, I feed them Orijen and Acana kitty and/or adult cat food (same company), and I would like to know more about the differences in foods in general, since I'm a firm believer in knowing what's in my food; I figured I might as well know what's going on in their food too!

What I'm really wondering, is what is the cheapest, but more importantly, what is also the healthiest. I'm sure that this is all dependent on my cats as well, so if there is any specifics that any of you pro's need, go ahead and ask me.

Thanks so much!!!

I think maybe you should start by reading this article:  http://www.thecatsite.com/a/choosing-the-right-food-for-your-cat

Then just continue your cat nutrition education by continuing reading more articles from our article library.   Simply click on "Articles" from the header up top, then select "Cat Health" , then take a look at all the articles under "Cat Nutrition".  THEN ask some specific questions
.

If you are interested in cooking your own catfood, we do have a specific resources thread to help you out there as well.  It's here:  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/264153/home-cooked-cat-food-resources

And, of course, if you want to feed RAW, which is the most natural to cats in the wild, and which many of us here do feed, we've got a resources thread for that too.  It's here:  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/264154/raw-feeding-resources
