Hello. I wanted to post about my experience with my cats veto and spike. I paid for a wellness plan with Banfield and took my two cats for a routine dental cleaning. When I returned home, they failed to remove the catheter on spike and blood was gushing all over the floor. I had to rewrap his leg and veto was acting very lethargic. After multiple days of this and multiple calls, and being told this was normal, I took veto to an emergency vet. I was told there was a hole in his treache as a result of his dental surgery and there was air throughout his body. Two days later, after much pain and suffering, he was put to rest. He was only 11 years old. My poor veto died in pain and I was told they used the wrong size trachea causing a tear. The manager of Banfield called me and apologized and stated they were negligent and at fault. They also promised to pay the emergency room bill of $2100. This happened in September of 2014. It is now March of 2015 and they still have not paid. They say my veto was worth a minimal amount of money. Please don't take your animals to Banfield. They hurt our pets. Please help me because they are a large profit company that does not care for the pets
