Bald spot thin skin blood exposed

Hello. Just saw my cat having a bald spot with red marks which look like they’re about to bleed. Would you know what this is? I will only be able to go tothe vet in 12 hrs.

Hi. It is hard to say what might have caused that spot. But it probably has been there for at least a couple of days, and your cat is likely scratching because it is itchy - which has led to it being raw.

Good that you will be able to have a vet look at it soon. I hope - and doubt - it is anything too serious and should be treatable and gone in no time!

Thank you. It’s actually only been hours on her, wc is why i was so surprised. I know, bec we were just playing earlier and it wasn’t there then. I am hoping too that it is nothung serious!
