I don't remember seeing Fast Eddies, but we ate at the Sandbar......remember that?Originally Posted by pjk5900
A good friend of mine, Kenny, his parents have a home there.
I have been to Anna Marie Isle a lot when I was staying down in Bradenton for a little while years ago.
Is "Fast Eddie's" still there?
Their logo was "warm beer & cold food"
but it was always busy!
Great Food!
It is BEAUTIFUL there!!
Wish I was there, we are expecting snow tonight.
You know, I thought the same thing! He looks like a frog!! But how would a frog get up there?Originally Posted by Katzyn

Beautiful pictures! Gary the Gecko looks like a frog to me, though. *giggles* I haven't seen any geckos down there, so...Maybe I just have frogs on the brain! And that fridge is gorgeous!

Trust me... you dont want to live here...
Wait until its the summer and your AC breaks, or you have to be outside longer then 30 minutes... Its miserable. The humidity is overwhelming! The winters are nice. (when it actually gets below 80) But its those summers that do you in. I guess its cause I have lived in the tampa area for my whole life, but after a while, the beach is very dull... And the hurricanes aren't fun either.
Your right, Ohio is beauiful, but I sure could be a snowbird and live in Florida during the winter months!Originally Posted by ShopCat
I hear ya!I live on the east side of the state & even though the weather has been gorgeous here lately I could really go for some snow!
The summers are brutal here & they seem to last forever...come October I am all but going insane for the want of some cool air coming down from the north. The first cold front of the year is always such a welcome relief.
I'm originally from around Pittsburgh & miss the seasons & would seriously consider moving back if I knew I had a good job.
Stay in Ohio, it's beautiful there.
That's how I feel!! LOL I truly don' tthink I could bear the summers though, but the winters, OH YEAH!!!Originally Posted by Misty8723
I can totally relate. My first trip to Florida, it was -5 degrees when I left Ohio (where we were living at the time). I got the car to the airport and sort of into a space, where it died. Got off the plane in Florida and said, I'm never leaving this place!
Than Susie you need to become a snowbird! We have lots of snowbirds down here during the winter than they pack up the RV and go home for the summer.Originally Posted by kittylover4ever
