The vet recommends the typical food elimination diet for up to 3 months followed by a diet challenge. A novel protein is recommended, although calamari is one of the suggested proteins to try. I don't think cats eat squid and seafood should be limited anyways. A home cooked diet is an option offered along with commerical LID foods. Nice to see a vet who doesn't push prescription food as the only way to treat something
