Are Paint Fumes Harmful For Cats?

Our neighboor next door is repainting their house. I could smell the paint if I open the windows in my house, but if I close them I don’t smell the paint at all. Anyway, I’m worried that the fumes from the paint is toxic to my cat. What do you think?

If your cat is an indoor cat, I'd definitely keep your windows closed while your neighbor is painting.

I am guessing that your cat is safe in a close up house; however, if he is an indoor/outdoor cat there are definite hazards from paint.
