2 of my kittens are having a problem. About 5 days ago their little butts were (as I learned on here) prolapsed. Their butts were red and sensitive. They never had loose stool though. It was more like they were constipated. Anyhow, I have been putting vasoline on them. And it seems to have worked great. Their butts look like they feel better. But..... now their poo is like mucosy. No blood though. They play and eat great.
But also.. the runt woke up this morning and her right eye was closed shut with green stuff. It has been a little watery the past few days but only that. Watery.
I just got Lilo fixed yesturday and these past few months I have been in and out of the vets b/c Garfield was so sick when we got him. I have NO money to bring them to the vet. I called the vet to see if I could get a discount by bringing both kittens in and they said it would still be $21.00 for the exam for EACH kitten. Thats $42.00 just for their exam. Plus whatever for medicine.
I am getting ready to open a restaraunt in Lousiana so we are getting ready to move and I just don't have the money. Maybe for just the meds. but thats it.
Any advice on what might be wrong with them??? And what I can do??
Thanks, Sarah
