I love fish tanks too. I currently have a 5g hex that is unoccupied though. I did keep Bettas and Corycats, but I moved them all out to permanent homes in the past few month due to health and tie issues.
One day I hope to have black moors and one day I hope to have a school of Albino corycats too, but that won't be for a while. When I have more time, and sort out all my health issues, I might get a king betta for my 5g. I will have a 40g breeder when my lizard passes in a few years, but I was thinking to maybe use it for a male eastern painted turtle instead.
Who knows what I'll finally end up doing though
