I have a few favorite Wines.
Wines from Chile are often overlooked but compare very favorably with French and California wines. And of course, they don't cost as much (most of them) for a suprisingly good wine. Having travelled extensively through Argentina (also good wines) and Chile, I understand that Italian is the second language and German is the third language, and the Italians and Germans have successfully transported their vines to this very fertile part of the world.Originally Posted by CoolCat

I LOVE Vino Verde!!! We luckily have a shop here that sells it. It's actually a large store called Total Wine, so if you get one in your area watch out!Originally Posted by GailC
I forget to mention that I enjoy Vino Verde however there is not a wine shop around here that sells it!! So I pick some up when I visit my sis in Virginia (along with some Virginia wines) or the Chicago area.

I LOVE wine. Numnumnum. I have many favorites for many different occasions. I think at home we must have at least 70 bottles just sitting there waiting for me to crack open. I tend to collect them and buy in masses when I go to the wine store, hence why we have so many lol.
I like to have at least a glass every night. Although I havenâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t been drinking much over the past month due to the weather giving me migraines. Now I try and drink at least few days.
Friday is my “down a bottle, get drunk and play video games night†lol I do it every Friday just to relax and distress from my busy work week. I save my favorite wines for Fridays.
On a side note: Anyone ever hear of the word “Shickerâ€. I think it means alcoholic. My family uses it a lot to make fun of us if we had too much. I was just wondering where it came from, I can only assume itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s a Jewish word.
