not sure where to put this but where we got our dog from in Shelbyville KY is always looking for people to help transport some of the dogs either to other shelters or to their forever homes. I get the things all the time but most stop in albany, NY so I am not along the route to help. They always ask for people to pass it on to try to find more volunteers so figured I would see if anyone is interested. They are normally broken up into 1-2 hr sections along the way from where they are going. it is a volunteer basis and you may have 1-3 dogs with you at a time. But if anyone is interested then I will post them here and see if maybe someone can do a leg of the trip.

here is an example of one and how they break them up........... (also this is the most common route that is used)

I have yet another great forever home in New England . Little Angelica has a chance at a great life. Please consider driving to get her home!!! If you are out of the area, please cross post and forward!

Thanks so much!!!

Molly

National statistics:
Only 1 out of 10 dogs born ever get a home. Only 1 out of 12 cats born ever find a home. 800 dogs & cats are KILLED each HOUR in the U.S, because there are not enough homes for them.

Saving one animal will not change the world, but it will change the world for

so either you can post here if you are anywhere along that route or even e-mail MOlly and let her know and she will add you to the list to send it out too.

IF anyone can help in this transport there are 3 more dogs joining in this one and they should be going this weekend and don't have alot of the legs filled so if you can do any of them or maybe even a partial please contact Molly. 2 of the dogs are going to forever homes and 2 are going to other rescue leagues.

thanks
