So our cat Sphinx has to be locked away from certain rooms when we’re not home like the kitchen, our bedroom and the downstairs hall that the dog is in(just incase, Phinx likes to pick on the dog so I don’t want them to hurt each other when we’re not there).
He usually spends the night in his bedroom, it’s just spare room with a bed, food and water, litter box, few cat climbing trees and toys. When he gets sick of being in there or if he wants to gain entry to a room he scratches at The corners of the carpet, he has already damaged it pretty badly... does anyone have any ways of preventing it? Because just leaving all doors open is not always an option...
