I just received their new email on blue buffalo new Carnivora which is “supposed “ to be close to raw.
Thinking trying it. Opinions?

Is it better than the low end brands? Yeah it is. Is it great? Not really. Look at the price tag. I think it's not very good for what you're getting. It has a lot of fish in it and a lot of stuff that cats just don't need. IMO Blue in general is overpriced for mid grade at best quality.I guess maybe my question should have been is it better than others on the market now? Speaking mainly of the dry kibble.
Update... it is Gracie who doesn't like the Carnivora. I think it is a texture/density issue. Wilderness is kind of creamy in texture with a thin density. Carnivora is thicker which apparently she doesn't like.Reading posts on this site about how important meat is to cats, I decided to try the Carnivora for both wet and dry. Boone and Gracie had been on Blue Buffalo Wilderness since getting them in May. I mixed in the old dry with the new dry. They ate it like normal. Got the wet food yesterday so I gave it a try for their dinner meal. Unfortunately, I missed who ate what but one bowl was empty and one had most of it still there. It was probably Boone who ate all of it. The boy can eat!! The other bowl eventually got eaten.
I accidentally bought about a month's worth of wet so it will last a while but I'm just going to get them the Wilderness again. The Carnivora dry was a little more expensive but the wet was A LOT more expensive and they didn't devour it like I expected. I guess they weren't as carnivorous as I thought they'd be.
Update to the update... both were clean bowlers today (although Boone might have helped Gracie finish hers a little). Just took Gracie a little longer to adapt. I am still going back to Wilderness though. They both liked it and it's less expensive.Update... it is Gracie who doesn't like the Carnivora. I think it is a texture/density issue.
