Is this a med your vet has prescribed for your cat? if so then its best to ask him. If this is something you have thats for humans then DO NOT give it to your cat under no circumstances. What is causing your cat to be in pain that you feel he needs pain control meds in the first place?
Is this a medication of yours that you're considering giving to your cat, or is it one the vet prescribed for your cat to take?
A cat's system responds to medications in a completely different way from humans - for example, plain old Tylenol that is perfectly safe for humans is fatal to cats. If this is something your vet recommended, please talk to your vet about it if you have any concerns - if it's a medicine of yours, do not give it to your cat. If you think your cat is in pain, it's best to take your cat to your vet to find out what's going on, and to find out about pain medications that are safe for cats.
The vet prescribed the medicine for glaucoma pain. I just want to know if anyone has ever given this med to their cat and had side effects. My cat had a seizure and couldn't walk very well and I didn't know if it was related to the medicine. The side effects for the drug listed o the web are dizziness, drowsiness, and seizures.
GLAUCOMA pain? I have glaucoma myself, and one of the reasons it's so dangerous is that it doesn't really CAUSE pain -- you don't even realize that your vision is being damaged.
If your cat has such severe glaucoma that it's causing him pain, then he needs a WHOLE lot more than just pain medication!
I'd suggest you look in the phone book for a veterinary ophthalmologist and take your kitty in immediately. They can be hard to find, though -- if there are none in your area, you could see another vet for a second opinion and proceed from there...but quickly!
This is very strange, and the apparent seizure is terrifying. I would not use the Tramadol again until you know EXACTLY what's going on with your kitty.
