Any experts on fur pattern genetics

So my cat's kitten was born yesterday and because we don't know the identity of the father we were interested in seeing the colours of the kitten. Mum is a calico and mostly white cat. Her kitten has a tabby head and top of body and tail with white spotty tummy and white legs and paws, with a white ring between head and back. Any ideas on the colour of the dad?

Dad is very apparently a tabby; probably brown tabby. Prob no white spots, babys white spots come just from momma.

ps. Momma is high white, because she has the white spot gene doubled up... she is homozygot re the spot gene.
It also means, every one of her kittens will get the white spot gene.

Baby has just some white... So she got this from momma, but not from daddy, because if so, she would be high white she too, having the whitee spot gene doubled up...

IF daddy has some white on him, he has just one such gene, and this kitten didnt got it from him.

So, if there are several toms to choose amongs, look after a classic tabby, without white or just some white. HE will be almost surely the
biological father.

Mom doesn’t have a lot of color to go off of, but she looks like she’s a tabby too, from that one photo with her head. If that’s the case, dad could be almost any color and pattern. Kitten looks like a black-based classic tabby with white, to me. Some colors do change somewhat, and she’s still very young.

She or he is so cute Looks like she is a brown classic tabby with white, I would say a bicolor, the white around her neck looks like a necklace.mom looks like a van pattern bicolor.

We are calling her Tiggy and keeping her, we couldn't bear to rehome her!
