Hello all!
My 5 month old kitten was placed on Otomax ear drops last Friday for an ear infection. A few days after we started the drops, he began having very loose stools. I called his vet to tell him, and he said that the combination of the antibiotic, anti-fungal, and steroid in the drops normally causes this. He also said that if he continues to act normal, eat and drink normally, that I shouldn't worry. He has continued to be his normal self. I was just wondering, is there anything I can do, or anything I can give him to ease the diarrhea? A friend suggested yogurt to help build up healthy bacteria, but cats aren't supposed to have milk products if I remember correctly.
Thanks!
