Yes. I was being tested for allergies and I have a really huge phobia of needles. They did my back ok and made me lay down, but when they started going up my arm with those things...I hyperventilated and almost fainted.
I am in a good mood. This was a good day, especially the swimclass. I cant wait for the next class. (I dont like going swimming myself thought, but this is different.)
Long story from hell, really. Pretty much because my ex-MOH dropped the ball on it and my friend tried to pick up the pieces and throw one together at the last minute. Only a few people could come so she just decided to cancel it. Nobody did a bachelorette party for me
I am not married, but there aren´t any traditions for bridal showers in Iceland. Not baby shower either.
Do people come to these showers with presents, just the close friends and have some fun and then come to the wedding/new baby again with new presents, or are these the people that aren´t able to come "to the real thing"?
They traditionally do come with gifts, but that isn't what I am sad about....it is just that it is something that happens when you are engaged and you are typically only intending to be married once, right? You invite people that are invited to your wedding. Inviting those that aren't is considered rude.
At the monent, baby clothes. And arranging them, just love these tiny things...
Carrie, I can understand that you are sad about the bridal shower, as you say, you only ontend to get married once, so it looks like you won´t have any ever
I know it´s not sad because of the presents, thats not what I ment, I was just curious, since I never went to a bridal shower, I thougt mayby, the guests were people that were invited, but weren´t able to make it to the actual wedding.
Do you buy things for your cats when you are away?
