Introducing Bill and Ben. They are about 3 1/2 weeks old and both males. They were found right next to a dumpster near some shops last night. I suspect someone was going to put them IN it but just couldn't bring themselves to do it.
The vet hospital asked the owner to go and check the area in case there were more kittens and I asked them to ring her back and ask her to check in the dumpster just in case but there were no more kittens.
They had the worst flea infestation I have ever seen. The vet hospital had sprayed them all over with Frontline, so I bathed them as soon as I got home and got it all off. I then applied the right dose of KITTEN STRENGTH Frontline drops. The fleas were trying to abandon ship so I spent the next 1 1/2 hours picking fleas off them. I got about 50 but that seemed like only half of them. This morning, their box was full of dead fleas and no more on the kittens. They are very wormy, so I wormed them this morning. Poor little darlings have had such an assault of chemicals!
They are very thin and Ben is a little weak but they're doing well. Bill loves the formula and I'm tube-feeding Ben as he's refusing to feed.
