Angry when playing chaser?

Hi all,

I picked up a kitten yesterday. I hoped I can introduce myself to her so I put her in a small room. When I played chaser with her, she also showed some angry sign like 'gruuuuu' in her tummy and 'haaaa haaaa' . It occurred when she caught the chaser but I felt normal when she is chasing the chaser.

Why does such situation happen? Does she still nervous about the environment?

Hi there! I don’t think it sounds like there’s anything to worry about. To me, it seems like your kitten is just getting into “hunting mode” when she catches the toy.

Hi!! Yes that’s also one of my idea of why she behave like that. She also 'gruuuuu' and 'haaaa haaaa' to the resident cat in the same way. So makes me feel like she is afraid.
