Moo had his teeth cleaned today and he's still feeling effects of the anesthesia. He's meowing quite a bit which is unlike him and he just can't seem to settle down in one place. How long does this usually take for it to completely get out of his system?

Anesthesia is starting to wear off

At least overnight and sometimes it takes longer. In the meantime he may yowl, stumble or be restless.
Anesthesia usually wears off in 24 hours. Many cats are unsteady on their feet for at least a couple hours post-surgery so keep an eye on your cat and try to discourage jumping and climbing. Vocalization and restlessness are other common side effects from anesthesia.
