who has secretly hoped for a Pet Supplies Plus or Tractor Supply gift card for Christmas?
I think that I enjoy shopping for my cats more than for myself. Haha!!

Same here. I love the subscribe and save. That's how I get the Pure Bites chicken treats. The cats would mutiny if I ran out of those
I do most of my shopping (even for my cats) on Amazon because the prices are usually better. So always hope for those gift cards
TSC is the only store out here to carry any premium cat foods.I tend to buy a lot of my cat food online too. Usually I buy from Chewy.com. I actually rarely get to go to a pet store (other than Tractor Supply)thanks to living in the country.
It's fun to have a good brick and mortar shopping spree every once in awhile and I've noticed that Pet Supplies Plus often has Merrick canned foods for cheaper than online.
Albuquerque is about an hour away. We used to go quite often. The last time we were at the mall wanna be thugs were going from car to car looking in the windows of the parked cars. We just left. There is a holistic pet store right across from the VCA we use. So I'm making my list . I'll have the other half with me so he can stay in the car and guard the cats. Most of our farm stores are pretty basic with the emphasis on hay.Yep, that's pretty much the story here too, except that we have Family Farm and Home as well as Tractor Supply.
In a larger town about 30 minutes away, they have Petco and Pet Supplies Plus.
How did we live before Amazon and Ebay ?
Amazon cards work well for me. Plenty of kitteh stuff there, as well as books on cat psychology, and stuff. I am able to go a little nuts on Amazon. Got Hekitty's Christmas Cat Tree there. She hasn't gotten on the tree yet, but she's having a blast with the box it came in. Which is about what I expected. The tree will have to sit there without attacking her for a few more days before she really trusts it.
I know, right?

Before the recession we had a great feed store here and the owners would order almost anything for me. If one of their suppliers carried it they got it for me. Through a quirk of fate our phone provider laid DSL cable replacing the singing wires we had for dial up. Ours was so bad you clicked and then found something to do for a half hour while the page loaded. Once we had high speed I started ordering almost everything through Amazon.

My husband gets Amazon Prime free through work and I buy a lot of stuff through it, for convenience. For example, there is literally no place that I know of that sells cat toothpaste in my town.
Once, I happened to be in a town that had a PetSmart and I looked at the toothpaste there and almost immediately placed an order on my smartphone for cat toothpaste. It was several dollars cheaper on Amazon.
I have no clue, but I don't want to live without them...Between household items and media, they keep me on budget. Them and (SHAMELESS PLUG FOR JUST DISCOVERED SITE) Thriftbooks.com. I read a LOT, and I just ordered 13 books from them, all of them either hardcover or trade paperback (oversized). Paid a few cents over $50 for all, free shipping, and every time I hit $50, i get a $5 gift certificate towards my next purchase. MOST of the books run between $3.50 and $4.00. This is a Godsend to me. Since I'm pretty much a shut-in due to my hardship with stairs, I read a lot.

I'm an ebay addict. Comet's stroller, some clothes, perch, and bed came from Ebay. I'm always looking for more.
