Need an alternate source of EFA's for my kitty she is allergic/sensitive to Fish Oil and Salmon Oil. Would Krill oil work or is that too similar to Fish Oil? On her results it doesn't say she's sensitive to Krill.  She's not allergic to Canola, Safflower, Menhaden Fish Oil, or vegetable oil.   She is on a raw diet, chicken based (which has to change too) so we are going to have Beef and Pork (if she tolerates them) as her main source of food, but I want to add high levels of EFA's for her severe arthritis.  She also is in stage 1 kidney disease.

My vet who is a feline specialist suggested 1/2 sardine per day. Of course that's a fish and your kitty might be allergic to this. I will freeze what I don't use from the can in 1/2 sardine sizes. Take one out the night before feeding and let it thaw in the fridge.

Oooh, Sardines are not on her 'no no' list.  So I can probably give her those for her fish oil content correct?

You could try it. Maybe give 1/4 of a fillet...every other day for a week or wo...then daily for a week or two.
