Alll Life Stages Food Vs Adult Maintence Food

Is there downside to feeding canned food labeled for "all life stages" vs feeding an adult cat food labeled for adult maintenance? Concerned that the all life stage food contains too much fat for an adult cat.

I wouldn’t really worry about it. Just make sure your following the recommended serving sizes on the bag/can for your cats weight and activity level. If you notice weight gain cut back a little. Simple as that.

I would look more at the ingredients and the protein-fat-carb amounts. These are the things that tell you whether the food is high quality. You want to see high protein from mainly meat-based sources (minimal or no veggies and fruits in the ingredients and no grains/potatoes/peas), moderate fat, and low carbs.
