I have a five year old cat that has been plagued by the itchies his whole life. He was rescued as a sick, abandoned feral kitten so there is likely an underlying immune issue.

I've tried every vet prescribed cure and every OTC supplement with no success. It's been terrible to watch. He began hiding a month ago.

I've been preparing chicken thighs for him this week. After three days my itchy guy is out and about for the first time in many months. He's affectionate rather than cranky.

Just thought I'd share.

That is really great news and you must be so relieved....as is your cat. Is this all he will eat? If so, I think that you will need to look into balancing his diet with other nutrients he needs. Is there a chicken based food that is limited enough that it might work? Applaws is made of only chicken, chicken broth, and rice, for example.

Then this is really great that you have solved this for your kitty!
