I have 4 adult cats ..had them for almost ayear..I also have 2 semi-kittens ..got them about 3 months ago. I am fostering kittens for the local humans society. Here is the problem::
One little kitten was ill (uri) and had a hard time figuring the litter box thing out. So he made a few mistakes..now all of a sudden my adult cats think it is ok to urinate in those same spots. What can I do? I bought a spray thats suppose to take away the cat smell to stop attraction but it does not seem to work!!
Any suggestions....no one has a uti!!

Where whiskers abound.
Straight vinegar works on smells and on keeping cats away. You could clean the area with vinegar, and have a rag soaked in vinegar placed near the spot they think is their 'litterbox'.

Itook the foster kitty in for his check-up and the vet said he has severe gastritis. so i have to give him more of the bland kitty food. I used the vinegar and omg it worked..everyone is back using the 4 litter boxes i have. Just the little foster kitty is having a problem.I will keep working on him.
