I thought everything was going pretty good here with my four (neutered/spayed) feral cats, but that was until a large male showed up and started hanging around!

He has fought with one of my young males injuring my cats rear leg . Then yesterday I interrupted him getting ready to start another fight with a feral cat that I haven't seen before.

Here's my question: if i am able to trap him in a "live trap", get him to a vet and have him neutered, will his behavior be changed to where he would be a more socially accepted animal?

Thanks!

It's very possible. All cats are a little different, but overall, neutered males are MUCH less aggressive after a neuter. I know there are a few people on this site who look after ferals and have found that a neuter and vet visit can completely change the attitude of a tom cat. Good luck! I hope you can catch him.
