My 7 month old was spayed 10 days ago, her incision was only small as she is only a small cat (1.8kg) on day 5 she saw the vet who was amazed at how well she was healing, she has been kept in a small pen for 8 days and for the last 48 hours she has had the freedom of the bedroom minus her favourite cat tree, when do you think she would be able to start using this again as I keep reading conflicting advice.
Thank you.

I'm sure she is jumping up on things and running around, so I'm not sure what possible good could come from restricting the cat tree. Its true that full recovery takes longer and many vets like restrictions for 14 days, but many many people have cats that are much more active than yours sooner and its totally fine. The female procedure is more serious than the males, but nonetheless, your vet said everything has been going well and a good chunk of time has passed. I'd just check the area daily to make sure it doesn't reopen.
