Is it necessary to put med on the spay wound? What would if I don't put anything on and leave it to be?

No, nothing needs to be done. I'm sure the vet gave a long acting antibiotic injection after the surgery.
Just keep an eye on it and if it starts looking unusual, get in touch with your vet.
