Hi Everyone,

I am using crystal litter for my cats. Since it's summer, I put the litter box outside, now I am noticing a change in color of the litter. It was originally white with some blue particle, now I can see the white crystals are changing to a pale purplish color, does anyone have any idea why that might happen? Is it anything harmful for my cats? Any kind of information would be very helpful.

If it's humid outside, crystal litter will suck up the humidity and it'll change color from that. I don't know why it's turning pink/purple though. Maybe some pollen is being absorbed or something. . .

It's not humid here, rather it's pretty dry! It might be pollen, I was seeing this yellow powder all over my balcony couple of days ago, but now I don't see it anymore. I just see the discolored crystal now.
