Hi everybody!
I already have one cat and adopted a new kitten yesterday. I have the new kitten in a starter room, not only to avoid potential conflict but also because the poor thing has conjunctivitis and I want to avoid my cat getting it. The problem is the kitten cries every time I leave the room, which has so far resulted in me being confined me to this room as well! I can't let her out of the room at the moment so my question is, does anyone have any experience of for how long I can expect this to go on? The vet has told me to keep them separated for 5 days, is she likely to keep crying every time I go out the room until she has free reign of the house?
Thanks!
