Add Lite Salt?

Would you guys add Lite Salt to the fine ground goat from Hare Today? I know you're supposed to add the salt if you're doing the chicken thigh recipe from catinfo.org, etc because that recipe lacks the thyroid gland and blood. I'm just not sure if you're supposed to add it when you're using whole animal grinds. The rabbit grind from Hare Today states that the thyroid gland is included but the goat doesn't specifically say anything about the thyroid...

"Entire whole dressed goat including heart, lung, liver, spleen, tripe and kidney along with bones"

I've been using Alnutrin premix but I'm going to discontinue that and make my own supplement mix and I just wasn't sure if I should be adding the lite salt.

You're right that the key is whether or not the grind includes thyroid. Since the description says "Entire whole dressed" I would assume it does. Best thing though is to call Tracy at Hare Today and ask her. From all accounts she is very willing to answer any and all questions.
