She turned eight yesterday.  Yep, she is an April Fool's kitten.  Now why is that so fitting?

She actually doesn't do catnip unless there is a large pile of it loose in the floor.  Silly kitty.  Valerian, though, she loves Valerian.  I'll have to order her some more.

Thank you ALL for backing up my bias.  I, of course, think she is the most beautiful kitten every born to a mama cat in the wide world.  That said, EVERYONE'S kitten is the most beautiful kitten ever born etc etc etc.

As for her name, she is actually named for the Greek Goddess Hekate, but I had to give it that "kitty" twist, just for fun.

Ouch...mea culpa!  I've been busily climbing around in my family tree on a joint project with my elder son!  I'll get some new pics on here in the next couple of days.  I could do both quite easily if I weren't on the computersaurus rex, which is the slowest thing in history.  It makes the hare look positively manic!  Loading EVERYTHING takes forever.  Dunno why I pay for cable modem...I could do almost as well with dial up.

I spent some time in my family tree. We're pretty much all on one branch.  My husband is proof the apple can fall very far from the tree. But I sincerely need Hekitty pictures.
