Well, at least in my eyes. LOL
She's taken to laying on the top of the back of the sofa near the window and looking out. But only, of course, if I'm not in that room. If she hears me even stand up, she's down and behind the sofa in a nano-second.
Today I had to go into the living room to get the paper I left there, which was on the table right next to the sofa.
When I got there I suddenly realized she was still on top of the back of the sofa, looking at me. I was shocked! She actually hadn't bolted! I immediately turned my eyes away and went about my business, ignoring her being there.
And she stayed there until I bent down and picked up the paper, then she scampered off to the kitchen.
But she didn't run. I couldn't believe it!
Seeing these little changes, day by day, showing she is trusting me just that tiny bit more, is simply amazing.
Oh cripes. She's coming into the room I'm in. Right now, as I'm typing. She came halfway in, meowed, and walked out. This is just so amazing. I swear, i'm crying right now.
(PS: I'm probably going to change Seymour's name yet again. I do this all the time until the perfect name hits me. But I was watching the Charlie's Angels movie tonight and thought Charlie would be a perfect name...and any of the ferals he helps me socialize, why, they'll be all Charlie's Angels, and I could even have a scrapbook).
So for now, unless something better comes to me, or if he seems to really like it (he never took all that much to seymour), he's Charlie.
LOL
