My mom has had a minor setback. She has to use her walker to walk now. The therapist came by today and told us that this isn't unusual. The therapist will do in home therapy for about a month.
If the therapist says its not unusual then I wouldn't really worry too much. Is it for extra stability? You said she was still suffering from vertigo so it's probably best for her. When my dad was sent home from the hospital, they warned us that it may seem like he has a set back but its most likely caused by the excitement of being home and trying to do to much to soon.
Sending vibes that your mom makes rapid improvement How frustrating it must be for her to have to use a walker - it makes me realize how much I take my abilities for granted
