(Apologizes if this is the wrong forum, wasn't sure where to put it.)
With Rocko's death last week, I can't help but think about how much longer I will have with Bear (He's 13/ indoor/ only health problems are his UTI's which he is on prescription food for and he gets some hard poop sometimes.) I think it's mostly because I really couldn't handle it if he passed anytime soon.
I guess I am closer to Bear than I was to Rocko. (He was still my baby and I cry everyday because of his loss.) One reason is he follows me everywhere in my apartment and every time I am under the covers he is right under there with me. During the winter he is my little ball of heat!
What was your oldest cat's age (past or present)? I am wondering if there is anything more I can do to prolong his life. I am sad to say before Rocko got sick I did not take them to the vet twice a year. Believe me I have learned from this mistake. Bear is actually at the vet at the moment to recheck his UTI and to tell her about his hard poop problem.I will be marking on my calendar (if everything is okay with him) 6 months from now to do a wellness checkup.
Thanks for any replies.
