does this mean he will be a big cat? his mom is 10 months old
Thanks! His sissy is very pretty too. Interesting what you say about red tabbys.. I've noticed that most people who have them here don't have any real petite ones. True however that orange/red kittens are mostly male. The only orange female I can think of here is beckiboo's latest foster mom. He just seems so big compared to his sister, and even Zakk who is a pretty small male from what I can tell 9.5 lbs and is at an ideal weight.Originally Posted by GoldenKitty45
Bet he's gonna be about 13/14 lbs of red tabby - handsome too
I know in some breeds (like rexes) the red tabbies for some reason tend to be larger then the other colors. I've had many red tabbies in the litters and all of them are bigger then the other colors when grown.
My red boy Garfield is my biggest cat...he is just a nice tall kitty. But my red foster girl Natalie was tiny. Both are pure bred moggies (mongrels). I've heard that 70% of red kitties are male.Originally Posted by zak&rocky
