I think so. She was eating and licking at some red gooey stuff that was near the kitten when birthed. There was lots or blood, too. The kitten wasn't born with a sac, though he was a little wet and slimey. I was more focused on whether or not he was alive and would get stuck.You certainly got lucky! Did she pass the placenta?
Yes, he is! I'm unsure of how much he weighs, for I don't have a scale to weigh him at this very moment. But so far, he's been constantly drinking milk and crawling all over his mum. I suppose he's healthy. Hallie has been doing a great job with her first (and last) kitten. I'm very proud of her.He's a big kitten! [emoji]128149[/emoji]
