Hi All. I adopted an 18 yo cat (previous owner went into hospice) about a month ago. She has hyperthyroidism and beginning kidney disease. Obviously, I am just trying to give her a good home for whatever time she has left. I am posting because tonight she has experienced some apparent bowel incontenance. The bowel movement was green. I made an appointment with the vet, but in the meantime, does anyone have any ideas about what this might mean? She is stretched out sleeping on my bed next to me and I can hear her insides making liquidy squelching noises. She doesn't appear to be in any discomfort, so that is good.

Thank you for letting keeping her! Hopefully someone will chime in soon. It does sound like some stomach upset. Has there been a food change recently?

No, no food change. Thank you for asking that. I forgot to mention it. Nothing has changed in the time I have had her.
