17 day old kitten eyes closed

he is a fighter this one. Does not like the oral antibiotics. He is a strong lil guy. 4th day on treatments, opening his eyes on his own now

Oh, such wonderful news! He looks fantastic! Keep up the regimen. Of course he doesn’t like it, but he doesn’t know it’s good for him. It appears his eyes will be normal — no damage. Is it too early to determine if he can see and find or follow something?

I do know that kittens need low light for a few days after their eyes open. They do not see 100% clearly immediately, and if he’s still getting terramycin treatments, things will be fuzzy with the goop in his eyes.

Is he part persian possably doll faced? His muzzle looks a bit brachycephalic but it could just be the angle.
