My cat is a Cornish Rex, and she is 1 1/2 years old. For the past few months, she has started licking herself constantly. Even when we are playing, she stops to lick herself. I took her to the Vet, and he said she looks great, and I should not worry.
But I am worried. Does anyone have any...
Thank you for your replies! It is strange, because now she seems better. I think it might have been a new blanket, that a friend gave me, and it needs to be washed. I have a vet technician friend, who comes to do my little girl's nails, and I will ask her, if she believes, I should take my...
I have a one year old Cornish Rex. I have noticed recently, that she licks herself constantly. Even when we are playing, she stops to lick herself. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do for her, or what might be the cause? Lately, it doesn't matter, what I try to entice her to...
With the warm weather approaching, I am beginning to notice Roaches in my kitchen. One that I saw yesterday was huge! Does anyone know of a repellent, that is not toxic to cats?
Thank you.

I have a 15 year old Cornish Rex. Odessa had dental surgery several months ago. Following that, she has had a couple of medical issues. She got a viral infection, and I had to giver her some medications by syringe. She had antibiotic shots, and they had to give her fluids, because she was...
Why doesn't the powdered L-Lysine work? The only other L-Lysine, that I know of is the kind in the tube, which is soft. My cat won't touch her food, when I use the soft kind.
I started my cat on the Lactoferrin today, but I am kind of worried, about using it, so I am beginning her on one...
I started using the powdered L-Lysine. It comes with a little spoon, so you don't have to worry about measuring. I purchased it from Chewy.com, and it has really helped my cat with the goopy eyes, and sneezing. I hope this helps you.
The warmth thing is the nature of Cornish Rex cats. A friend has had a couple, and his cats were the same way. If you haven't seen one, they have practically no hair.
I think, I will try the bathroom steam for Odessa. She is very persnickety, and she may give me a hard time, getting her into the bathroom, and keeping her there.
How long should I try to keep her in the bathroom?
Thanks!
I love my Vet, and he has been treating Odessa since she was a kitten. I have also seen 2 other Vets in the office. Yes, Odessa has allergies, but I did not have luck using Benedryl. Do you have any suggestions for allergy problems?
Thanks!
My 15 year old Cornish Rex (Odessa) has had a lot of problems this year, with congestion and a stuffy nose. She has had antibiotic shots, antibiotic medicine given with a syringe, and other medicine for a viral infection. I have been giving her powdered L-Lysine in her food for several weeks...
I have a 15 year old Cornish Rex, who is very picky. She has had upper respiratory problems, and was very sick recently. I have been to the Vet many times. He said she has allergies, and to try Lysine. I tried the Lysine in the tube, and I have torn the Lysine chewies into pieces, and put...
