I had one too. Bless his soul. I used to have a roommate, and after he died, he came to tell me that he was sorry to hear about the passing, that he had great memories, despite all his farts! Haha.
If the nature's variety doesn't work, try the orijen cat/kitten formula. Its a great dry food, I've noticed a marked improvement in my cats in the past two weeks that I incorporated it into their wet diet.
I don't trust your vet. Yogurt, and the desitin. Bad calls. Try the pumpkin.
I rescued 3 strays once. One had a really bad case of diarrhea, much like yours. I was scared she wouldn't make it, but... she did, and she's a healthy girl now. If he's running around, that's good. Just try to...
I've lost three pets in my life. A childhood bird, a childhood dog, and recently, a very special cat. Everytime, I pretty much just curl up and bawl. I still cry everyday for my fluffy, and sometimes I still cry for my dog who died 6 years ago.
I keep what I can. Feathers, collars, toys...
That's a handsome fellow you've got there. He's got bright eyes. :)
I've already adopted - poor Bobo was dreadfully lonely and bored, so I took him with me and hunted for a cat that he liked - turns out to be a 5 month old male kitten. All black, with a white spot. Funny thing is, he does some...
Ha, aw, that's a handsome guy you've got there. I didn't train him, per se, he just did it. I didn't realize until the fourth throw that he was actually fetching. :)
I'll try the clicker training on the younger cat. Bobo is no good for anything but sitting, walking, and cuddles. Can't even...
Agility stuff? That's a great idea! He is rather athletic, I'll try that with him. People's minds will be so blown if they see a cat jumping hoops! Haha. Not sure if I can get him to fetch other toys, he only does it with one thing in specific, out of 30 toys! Haha
I had no idea what clicker...
Ahh, gotcha. I always stick with the same brands of dry now, after a phase of me buying bags that were on sale and stepping in puke at night. Ick!
And thanks. :)
Thanks, everyone.
I don't want another fluffy, the reminders will break my heart even more, but if someone out there had a similar cat, I'd love to visit that cat. Having one around all the time would turn me into a walking waterfall haha.
Rotation, huh? Sounds good, I heard that cats do best on a stable diet, which one is better? My bobo has stomatisis, and a sensitive stomach, he pukes easily, and he's had weight issues as long as I've had him. He's never been fat, but sometimes he gets thin, which he did on a mainly wet food...
Yeah, Bobo, my older cat grew up with a bunch of different cats that I took in - fostering and rescues, so he's very used to new cats. He especially likes babies, kids, and kittens. The softy.
I guess slash is smart and sociable. Here's to hoping this keeps up. :) I want to teach him an...
I took on a 5 month old male last week. He adjusted quickly, to my cat and home. Yesterday and today, he actually fetched a few times, so this isn't a fluke. He already doesn't mind a harness and leash either.
I must have really lucked out, or I must emit some positive cat vibes or something...
I'll keep that in mind, and stick with the orijen that has chicken as their main meat... unless I find something better, anyway. What do you feed yours?
Well, they could make it, but I get harassed/meowed/pawed half to death the moment they hear a crinkly bag. My schedule isn't stable either, so they get extra hungry some mornings/evenings.
I figure the kibble will keep them topped off while wet food is their main intake. I'll recheck the bags...
I've been using arm and hammer, multi cat clumping litter for 2 years now. Max scoop for 1 year before that, and pine pellets or whatever wood those pellets were made of for 4 months prior.
I wonder how good those clay litters are, since our cats lick off those paws that have been in there...
Hi everyone! My apologies for the typo in the title, I meant to spell cats instead of cost, and now I can't figure out how to edit the title. Anyway! I wanted to get your input on a particular type of cat food - Orijen. I tried to wean my cats off of dry food, and onto wet food and raw food. My...
You keep the toys in a pen? That could explain it. Cats like to chase toys all around the place, so leave the toys out when you leave. You see, a cat is most bored when they're alone. Get creative. Hide catnip infused toys around, rig some things.. strings, feathers tied to doorknobs, springy...
Spay her. Get her checked out by the vet. Put soft paws on her, those are acrylic caps you put on her claws.
Play with her til she's worn out. Use loud noises to deter her from noises. I used a can half full of pennies.
If all else fails.. leash her in the home, keeping the least attached to...
