I would go for it. If she is in the shelter she has a very slim chance to make it out alive during kitten season. It is very nice of you to consider adopting a senior kitty, I hope you go for it.

Ringworm is no big deal!!! You apply anti fungal cream and let it pass, clean your house and everything very well and it will go away in time. If you surrender them to the shelter with ringworm they are as good as dead:(

Ring worm is a fungus and it takes a long time to get rid of. Doing rescue I had the plessure to have RW going through my house more then once. I never had a cat with such a severe case but it's not a reason to put a cat to sleep, far from that. Talked to your Vet and ask for some oral meds...

Just reading your original post makes me want to throw up. I would change Vets immidiately. Hope your baby will get better, now I will read all the replies:)

I am worried about salmonella in the chicken so?

I am sure it is posted somewhere but wasn't able to find it yet. I want to switch all my cats and fosters to raw diet and would like to know what type of meets/parts are safe to feed. I already learned about the transition. Any help and input would be appreciated, thanks.

I have a year old foster cat that is the size of a 4 month old kitten, when I found him I thought for sure he was a bottle baby thats how tiny he was but he ate. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this cat besides being on the smaller side.

I would take baby to a specialist for another opinion. I would not be able to put this baby asleep just yet. I am fostering a special needs baby that cannot walk and he is a very happy little fella but his story is different he was born this way so you can't quit compare. Please, see a Neurologist.

I would want to find out what caused it and def. NOT put this baby asleep if there is no pain.

They don't like the taste of it but it works well. I also order  Forti Flora online, a very good probiotic.

Also, Promeris works wonder, not sure if any of these can be combined with the meds your cat is on but they are topical, just like flea treatment.

Does the skin looke red and irritated? Don't mean to scare you, but the 2nd picture looks a bit like ringworm, I hope I am very wrong on that one............
