Kittens eyebrow whiskers fell off and hair thinning around eyes

Thank you for the pictures. :) Sorry I haven't responded in a while, I've busy with school all week, but after looking of your kitty, I am also pretty confident he does not have fleas, and he does look like my kitty. So, I think he has preauricular alopecia, because if he had ringworm, mites...

Could you possibly show me a photo of the spots that are thinning?

So, although you are unsure what breed your cat is, do you know for sure he is a pure breed or possibly a mix?

Comment by 'hazel25' in article 'Quiz: If You Were A Purebred Cat Which Breed Would You Be?'

Says I'm a Egyptian Mau. ~"You manage to bring forward an authentic kind of energy that inspires everyone around you. When you say or do something, people know it's "for real" and comes from the heart." Doesn't really sound like me though......I think I'm going to do a retake.

Friend of Ferals Award Badge - Apply Here

I currently help out my mom capture cats and do TNR operations with her all the time. We have fixed many cats this previous year and even found homes for some. Right now, I take care of two ferals that basically live in our backyard -Felix and Pico-, I also have one indoor kitty named Hazel who...

Why does my cat lick my nose?

When cats lick their owner's face, hand, etc., it's a sign of affection and a strong bond. Cats usually greet each other by touching noses as Sivyaleah said, and grooming is also a sign of affection. It's normal for a cat to do this with there owner, and he is probably content and happy with...

    Missing outside cat

Yeah it's a smart idea to keep up to date with the new cats arriving at the shelters, good thinking. I feel really bad for Little Boo, it must be very hard on her to not have her best buddy. Make sure to give her plenty of love and attention to boost her spirits. She probably is depressed and...

What breed could my cat be?

Finn does seem to share multiple of the characteristics that describe a Turkish Van, both physical and mental. But I have seen Domestic Long-haired cats with white and black marking similar to Finn's, and since DLH cats don't belong to any specific breed and are mixed, their coat patterns and...

Is he a turkish van? or just a domestic longhair

Finn is a very gorgeous cat and he does strongly resemble a Turkish Van. Was he a stray found on the boat or was he left behind, and was the boat abandoned? Because if he was a stray then he's probably a mix, and there is a possibility he might be park Turkish Van, but since he lineage is...

What breed could my cat be?

Finn does resemble at Turkish Van, and he also looks somewhat like a Turkish Angora. But since you don't know his lineage he is most likely to be a mixed breed and he could just be referred to as a Domestic Longhair.

    Maine Coon?

You cat is so handsome! I definitely see some Maine coon in him, he does have a strong resemblance. I think there is also the possibility of him having some British Longhair, or Persian (Doll face). Since his lineage is unknown I would just refer to him as a Domestic Longhair. I have a 7 month...
