    Multiple Allergy Symptoms. Help!

He was on Prednisolone, but it has made him so nauseous that he now refuses to eat when I sneak it in his food. I have been giving him Zyrtec for the last couple of days. Vet says it could be that that makes him sick. The only thing he has been able to keep down is when I mix a 1/2 of his old...

    Multiple Allergy Symptoms. Help!

Dr Elsey's respiratory relief. It has virtually no dust. At least a lot less than my first choice (Ever Clean)

    Multiple Allergy Symptoms. Help!

I have not tried lamb or beef yet. I forgot to mention that I gave him some sardines (I needed to find a way for him to take the steroid), and also tried Primal dry freeze pork, but he never even came close to it. The others he at least ate a few bites before walking away from it.

    Multiple Allergy Symptoms. Help!

My poor Huxley has been experiencing multiple allergy symptoms since I adopted him in January. He sneezes (sometimes all day long and has sneezing attacks where he gags), wheezes, is starting to get chin acne, is biting at his back paws. He used to vomit once or twice a week, but he has vomited...

Going away for a few days for the first time

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I am going away on a school trip for 4 days leaving my baby alone for the first time and I am worried. I have organized for a good friend of mine ( a cst lover who has 3 kitties herself) to come check on Huxley twice a day and I'll know...

Do you let your cat sleep in your bed with you at night?

    1) He joins me in bed usually in the middle of the night or at around 5am if I played with him and fed him late the night before. 2) I like it, but he wakes me because he wants to be pet! 3) Not unless you have allergies or get sleep deprived. 4) Right next to my face. He sometimes paws at...

    Naming your cat :)

I wasn't quite sure what to name my cat when I first brought him home. I wanted a meaningful name for him, but also somethjng that matched his personality. I made a list of all the names I liked prior to getting him to get some ideas. When we got home, I put him in his safe room and started...

    Cat sneezing

Took Huxley to the vet on Thursday. By that point, he was sneezing about 15 times a day and his breathing was very wheezy at times. He'd virtually stopped eating his wet food (he was sneezing a lot while eating it). I did some research on the ingredients in the hill's diet d/d he was taking, and...

    Funniest and favorite cat/kitten behaviors

My absolute favorite thing is when I go to pet Mr. Huxley when he is asleep in his bed on top of my dresser. He gets out of his bed, comes to me, stands on his hind legs and puts his front paws on my chest. Code for: pick me up momma! 1008410084

    Cat sneezing

He does have some heavy breathing at times, when he plays for example, and sometimes does some sort of snoring thing when he sleeps. He is on prescription diet for allergies, so i wonder if it's actually working. I have to bring him back in a week for the vet to check his ears (he had an...

    Cat sneezing

I have had Mr. Huxley for 2 weeks today and he has been sneezing every since I brought him home. U took him to the vet 2 or 3 days after bringing him home, but she says that since he had no other symptoms, that it was either a simple cold, or stress and that it should go on its own. It hasn't...

How long should I keep my new rescue cat in a small room?

That's kind of what I thought. I have some covered bed where he could go and hide if he wanted to, but of course he is not interested in them! He seems to have lost interest on the bed, at least for now. I just don't want him to dig at the carpet!

How long should I keep my new rescue cat in a small room?

Little update: Mr. Huxley has been with me a week and is doing very well. However, today I vacuumed for the first time and it freaked him out. He's been a little skittish since then and this afternoon he managed to find his way under my bed, even if I spent weeks prior to getting him filling up...
