Can you order through Amazon or Ebay where you live? I've seen fenbendazole online and in stores near me. I'm surprised your vet only has metronidazole. Still, they're a vet and if they aren't concerned with his side effects I'd try to trust them.. I'm sorry your poor baby is reacting so badly!

It'll be a puddle on top of the litter. Occasionally is okay, kittens have sensitive stomachs. If it's been liquid for a few days I'd bring him to the vet. Switching wet foods doesn't bother most kitties, it's more switching dry. Did Dobby get dewormed?

Soft poop will be shaped like poop but isn't scooped up clean. Watery poop is just diarrhea... so it'd just be a puddle.

He's probably a little constipated. Try mixing in a little more water or canned pumpkin.

I bought a Breeze litter box on sale and I highly recommend it. I replaced the expensive pellets it had with pine pellets meant for horse bedding.  The sawdust gets sifted to the removable tray and the litter scoop is just the right size for the pellets to go through. No tracking and it smells...

If switching foods caused him to have softer stools than usual, that might cause it. They're also not quite as good at staying clean when they're tiny. Definitely temporary unless the food doesn't agree with him.

What lucky kitties! I'd love an update on what toys they like the most, especially the ones good for teething... my two have to play with crumpled up paper  and grocery bags until I have more money. Luckily they don't seem to mind!

Any kind of corn syrup or honey will do the trick. It gives a little boost of sugar and will hopefully stimulate his appetite. Poor baby, it's too bad he's reacting so badly to the medicine.

@Tlco  unfortunately all of the good quality grain free kibble I can think of contains fish, which is a shame since I'd prefer to avoid that ingredient as well. I don't like giving my kittens rice or other grains either, and powdered cellulose is basically sawdust. I'm glad that food works for...

Aw, we finally get to see his face! He's such a cutie! I think it's pretty normal since from your other thread I know you recently started switching foods. I find young kittens have smellier poop, and worse hygiene. . 

@oldgloryrags88  I highly recommend feeding the Rocky Mountain flavor instead. It should be the same price everywhere, and it's 42% protein instead of the 32% in the River Canyon formula. Much better food for the price. Higher protein is almost always better.
