Hi there. We’re doing great. Ringworm is gone. I had a scare when I thought it was back, but turns out my cat has regular, minor skin issues. Nothing requiring treatment. I do know a woman in my neighborhood whose kitten had ringworm; it was then gone for a year, but suddenly returned!! That’s...

6 Things I Learned from Our Ringworm Plague (book length....)

Tough one! Can you prevent them accessing it now? I’m assuming you can’t use a swiffer in there either. I guess I’d probably do what you were thinking about, but it has to be able to dry.

Hi All, Shouldn’t I be able to access previous conversations in my inbox? It’s empty. When I click on the envelope icon at top, it says “no conversations.“

Definitely not intruding! Welcome, welcome. So your cat is super itchy, I see. Shelter medicine sources are excellent for tips about feline disorders. Also Tufts University has a highly regarded vet program and so also online resources. Cornell does, too.

I know that Vivibebean on this thread experienced red areas on her cat that her vet told her were excoriations, or marks resulting from scratching.

I think people will be leery about suggesting possible diagnoses. Are you able to bring your cat to the vet? Are you thinking it might be ringworm? Or you just don’t know.

Oh god, I’m relieved for you! It’s such a confusing disease. I appreciate the support you gave me, also. 💜

Wow, those are big red areas. How alarming! I came on here today to write you that two little bald spots showed up on Merlin’s ear several days ago. I chose to ignore them, because I just couldn’t believe it. And now they are gone. And all the hair is growing back on his ears. So I think he is...

Well, I am SO glad I found you both. I was upset! BTW, I spent about $400 before finding out it wasn’t ringworm. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Oh well. I’m going to donate all the Rescue spray to Brenda’s Cat Rescue in Philadelphia. Or most of it …. Maybe it’s tempting fate to give it all away.

Thank you Sandy! It has been so nice chatting with you. Yes it seems like we are in the clear. I said exactly that to a friend of mine who was encouraging me to buy an Electrolux: that I would never in 1 million years spend that kind of money on a vacuum. L O L.

As for me, I have become a much more diligent and regular cleaner, LOL. Swiffer, where have you been all my life? I love those tools. I cannot believe how much the dry swiffer mop gets up off the floor. The wet swiffer mop I regard as just a washing touchup. It’s not a super thorough cleaning. I...

Hi, sorry I missed this. I’ve been distracted visiting my 91-year-old mother in the facility where she has gone since her dementia became severe. I’m sure you are destined for better things, LOL! The hair is growing back on his ears, yes. But I don’t even care. Since the vet experienced it with...
