We started feeding this to my cats and immediately they had severe diarrhea and vomiting. I’ve read up on it and as it turns out, many other pet owners have similar reports. I thought this was a highly vetted brand, but just wanted to share to proceed with caution.
Our cat has started peeing on the sofa. Are there any sprays you’ve found that actually work :frustrated:to keep kitty away from that area? We’ve used enzyme cleaner.
Suddenly stopped eating their favorite wet food. Tried a variety of Tiki Cat flavors and textures, and they just won’t touch any wet food. They are eating their dry food. I’m concerned they are not getting moisture…any advice or experience with this?
We just adopted a ten month old kitty, and she should be around 8 pounds, but is over 10 lbs. Her adoption paperwork stated that the vet recommended she lose 2-3 pounds. She is definitely a visible chonk. I am not sure what her life was like before she arrived at the shelter, other than she was...
We had to put our 8 month old sweet angel down last night due to FIP. I talked to my vet today to ask when he thought a safe time would be to get another cat for my remaining kitten, who really needs a companion. He said 6 months 😥. Our vet said he isn’t worried about FIP since it can’t be...
My 8 month old rescue was diagnosed with coronavirus, and in the last week has developed noticeable abdominal swelling, which I just learned can be one of the tell tale sign of the wet form of FIP. A small percent of cats (under 15%) that contract coronavirus have it mutate to FIP, and it is...
My poor 7 month old kitty was adopted Jan 30. He came home with a host of problems we are discovering, the first was Giardia, which he was treated with antibiotics. His condition worsened, and a second fecal panel revealed he also tested positive for Feline Coronavirus, and the campylobacter and...
One of my rescue kitties is experiencing ongoing diarrhea and lethargy. He has been tested and treated for giardia, and we just sent in another stool sample for further testing for other diseases. Results should be back in about 5 days. In the meantime, the vet suggested we feed him a bland diet...
My cats are 7.5 months and about 8 pounds, from what I understand is in the normal weight range. They get fed 3oz each wet food 2x a day (a variety of flavors and textures of their favorite Tiki Cat foods.) I’d say they eat about 2/3 to 1/2 of it at each meal time. The rest gets discarded as it...
